Save Sands Road: Crystal Lake Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting

Trucking terminals are good … but not in a Crystal Lake area not zoned for it, and not smack dab next to residential neighborhoods.  The Crystal Lake Planning & Zoning Commission should say NO to a zoning change that would allow the operation of a giant truck terminal on the west side of Sands Road north of Northwest Highway (Route 14.)   There are plenty of other places, zoned fully industrial, for the installation of this behemoth, with 350 trucks belching diesel exhaust round the clock.
