Defenders 2024 Annual Meeting and Dinner
The natural parts of McHenry County are extremely beautiful, and we are fortunate to have a vibrant and long-established environmental group here, the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County.
Please join the Defenders for their 2024 Annual Meeting & Dinner, on Sunday March 3rd, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. It’s at 31 North, an event space at 217 Front Street in McHenry. If past experience is any guide, it will be a huge crowd and an enjoyable event.
We are thrilled to have the chairs of our six Action Teams, the bookstores’ manager, the director of MCSEEP, and the director of Paddle the Kish as our speakers this year. The Defenders’ have accomplished so much in 2023, and this will be the perfect opportunity for our members to hear all about it first-hand from the volunteers who make it all possible.
Dinner and dessert will be included with the ticket, and there will be a cash bar. In addition, there will be an online silent auction leading up to the event, as well as a bag raffle and 50/50 raffle the night of the event (bring your cash!). The online auction link will go live on February 19. All bidding will close at 8PM on March 3.
